The Danish brand Aiayu was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann . The name was inspired by the language of the Bolivian indigenous people, Aymara , where Aiayu means "soul" . Their product is made with a focus on the environment, workers and consumers. When these elements are taken care of, that's when a product becomes truly luxurious , according to their philosophy.
