The Oiva Unikko teapot from MARIMEKKO is made of white stoneware and features a white-on-white Unikko pattern. The teapot has a ceramic strainer, wooden handle and a spout made of certified rubberwood. Due to the wooden details, it is recommended to wash the teapot by hand. The product is packaged in a box with the Marimekko logo pattern.
Unikko means poppy and symbolizes creativity. This pattern was born at a time when there were almost no floral designs included in Marimekko's collections. However, designer Maija Isola was fascinated by the floral theme and decided to create a whole series of innovative floral patterns.
